White water rafting and kayaking on the River Tryweryn at Bala is world-renowned, attracting paddlers from across Europe. The National Whitewater Centre offers sessions for all abilities. Llyn Tegid — the largest natural lake in Wales — sits alongside and offers sailing, windsurfing and open water swimming.
North Wales offers superb walking and climbing across the Snowdonia, Aran, Berwyn and Clwydian mountain ranges — from gentle valley walks to summiting Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
